Diet and Fasting

Today, I'll do it!
Maybe tomorrow I will,
Oh this is difficult,
Will I ever win?

The scale says, "Just stop it!"
But my mind says, "Please, don't!"
Whatever they want,
I just can't let it go.

"Be brave," says my heart,
Whatever that means?
It's not like I'm dying,
I just want to be lean.

My mouth can't stop munching,
My mouth can't stop drooling,
If living means restricting,
Then just let me die.

Some think it's just easy,
To fast and to break.
If only they'd try it,
They sure'll be insane.

It is never easy,
It never will be.
So don't try to tell me,
To lose more or I'll sue!
