Heart of Stone

Down the pavement where strangers meet,
There I see you looking at me.
A sensual feeling of love and hesitations,
Covers me full in the cry of desperation.

Slowly it's changing and turning me loose,
Out of control and trapped in small hooks.
Truth or dare, you don't really care,
Even if tears fall, you won't even stare.

My eyes are red and my head held down,
Can't you see that I'm almost in frown,
You're pouring me out a glass of misery,
You won't take my hand or let me speak.

Come now, you heart of stone!
You don't care about me, so you're on your own!
I don't want to leave you but you gave me no choice.
I'm nothing to you, you left me in sores.

Leave and be on your own,
My beloved who has a heart of a stone.
Heavy to carry but soft in the eyes,
Sad to see you leave without any goodbyes.
