Heal My Heart Dear Lord

Tears fell as I stared at the sky,
It's grey and it's dark, the weather doesn't seem right.
I wish to make it through the day,
But the more I think about it, the more I hurt inside.

Why is the world so painful and so cruel?
When you try to please others, you become like a fool,
I wish to stop the hurt and just run in your arms,
Deliver me from evil and from earthly desires.

Heal this heart Lord, I beg of you.
Make me more humble, don't let anger rule my life.
I want to be focus only to you,
I don't care about what others say and do.

If they hate me for having you in my life, so let it be!
I want to live life according to your purpose, I want to be free!
People may criticize, mock me and tell me I'm a mess,
I know that your power is made perfect in weakness.

Stay With Me Lord!

Don't abandon me, Lord.
In times of sadness and pain.
I am dependent to you, Lord.
Without you, it's always a shame.

'Cause in this world so full of hatred,
In this world so full of pain,
It's hard for one to stay the same,
'Cause everything I do seems to fail.

So keep me close and don't ever let go,
'Cause I am needing you more and more,
When troubles come, please always be there,
To catch me when I fall.

I won't make it on my own,
The pain keeps coming on and on,
So stay by my side and don't ever leave,
You are my provider in times of need.

The Waves of Light

Slowly but gently it covers me,
I simply denied it at first yet it blooms.
The power of love illuminates thy heart,
It never was dark and it never stops.

How can a heart be so fragile in my care,
But when I tried to seek you,
It was never impaired.
A forgotten soul that was caught unaware,
Of the evil aura that arises in the air.

How faithful you are to me, Oh Lord.
The distance is far but you seem so close.
I might have been lost, I might have been swallowed whole,
By my ignorance, pride and depressed mind.

Yet you saved me!
You showed the devil who's boss.
I belong only to you,
I know now that,  oh Lord.
