A Letter For You From Me

Dear Mr. Gorgeous Man,

I know you were hurt when I try to pretend that I didn't like you.
How long has it been exactly? I think it was two years, more or less.
What precisely did you do to make me want you now?
The truth is, I don't know...

I still remember that day when you kissed my nose,
I thought it was the sweetest thing.
Pretending it didn't mean at all, haunted me day and night.
Oh what a sight, a beautiful memory that I can't erase.

How come you knew me inside and out?
You know my every move and every touch!
Can you read my mind or am I that easy to see?
It's like I'm transparent whenever you're with me.

And who would ever thought that I'd fall for you now?
Despite the teasing, the lying and the all pretend sighs,
You're undeniably charming and an immensely annoying vagabond,
You were my first brights and all my first lights.

Whatever have you done to me? You're a wizard in disguise!
A person like you is definitely hard to find,
Will I take this last chance or should I let myself go?
Behind this crazy facade is a whole different show.

I'm sorry, I guess, that's all I have to say.
I feel a bit weird in a strictly annoying way,
I know you've moved on and you found someone else,
I'm just glad that I met you, you were my beautiful experience.

But if I were to go back and changed the whole thing,
I'd love to love you in a whole different way.
With no more pretend and my lips slightly curved,
And my head held up high, a kissed on the lips instead of a nose.
